Critical Care Facility
The Critical Care Facility houses our most vulnerable residents, such as pregnant and nursing mothers, young puppies, dogs recovering from intensive surgery or contagious diseases, and dogs experiencing extreme fear that cannot easily be handled.
Sponsoring Critical Care kennels makes you the lifeline for desperate dogs who enter our facilities. Because we're a "No Kill" shelter, this is their entry into a new life, new family and new home through HLCR to truly be rescued!

Quarantine Kennels
All of our dogs begin their journey in the Quarantine Kennels before being moved to General Population. This allows us time to determine their medical and behavioral conditions before exposing them to our general population.
During their time spent here, they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, started on flea-tick-heartworm prevention,and heartworm tested.
Sponsoring a Quarantine Kennel lays the essential ground work necessary to prepare our dogs medically for their new life in a loving family.

General Population
Your sponsorship provides important and needed treatments to make sure healthy rescue dogs stay healthy!
Flea-tick-heartworm prevention, skin and coat vitamins, joint and digestive supplements, specialized food (like senior or weight loss). This is crucial so HLCR dogs get everything they need, preparing them for adoption!
Your donation ensures that our dogs are in tip-top shape as they await their forever families in a climate-controlled, clean and comfy space.
